Sanding Wood Floors – Refreshing and restoring wood floors bring life back to their appearance! This process can be accomplished using a variety of tools, but the safest method is using an orbital scrubber.

Standard & Pro Sandpaper – There are two types of sandpaper that can be used with the Square Scrub Pivot on wood floors. Standard sandpaper has one side that can be used while professional sandpaper has two sides.

1. Make sure the floor is swept or vacuumed free of debris.

2. Apply a White Driver Pad to the grip face to protect it from the abrasive sandpaper.

3. Set the machine onto the sandpaper.

4. The square footage you will get out of each piece of sandpaper will vary greatly depending on a variety of factors, not the least of which is the type of wood you are sanding. Pay close attention to how the sandpaper is cutting and change or flip it when the results dictate.

5. Vacuum and tack mop the floor before applying stain or finish.
